COVID-19 Policy:
1. Introduction
This policy outlines the measures and protocols implemented by Healthstin, an Allied Health company, to mitigate the risks associated with COVID-19. The health and safety of our participants and staff are of paramount importance. This policy is designed to comply with applicable laws and regulations while ensuring a clear and straightforward approach to COVID-19 management.
2. Cleaning and Sanitisation
Healthstin shall maintain rigorous cleaning and sanitisation procedures in all facilities and commonly touched surfaces. This includes but is not limited to, treatment rooms and waiting areas. The frequency of cleaning shall be increased, utilising approved disinfectants to ensure optimal hygiene.
3. Isolation and Reporting
If a staff member is confirmed to have contracted COVID-19, they will be required to isolate per current public health guidelines. Healthstin will promptly report any confirmed cases to local health authorities as law requires
4. Participant Options
Participants can choose an alternate practitioner for their appointment within the same week. Healthstin will make every reasonable effort to accommodate such requests, subject to practitioner availability.
5. Cancellation Due to COVID-19
If a participant cancels their appointment within 48 hours of the scheduled session due to COVID-19-related reasons, Healthstin will endeavour to reschedule the appointment within the same week, provided it is feasible and contingent upon the participant receiving clearance from COVID-19 within that timeframe. If rescheduling or telehealth options are not possible, Healthstin has the right to exercise the 48-hour cancellation policy as agreed upon in the service agreement signed between Healthstin Pty Ltd and the Participant.
6. Telehealth Services
Healthstin offers telehealth services as an alternative to face-to-face appointments. This option allows sessions to proceed without needing in-person contact, reducing the risk of COVID-19 transmission.
7. Compliance and Updates
All staff members and participants must adhere to this policy and any additional COVID-19-related directives provided by Healthstin. This policy will be regularly reviewed and updated to reflect the latest public health guidelines and legal requirements.
By implementing these measures, Healthstin aims to safeguard all participants' and staff's health and well-being while maintaining the quality of care provided.
